The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from June to October each year. Please double-check the hours of operation for current hours, which may vary seasonally or during special events. We are usually closed on Tuesdays following a long weekend.

Only service animals are permitted inside the museum to protect our historic buildings and artifacts. However, we welcome pets in our outdoor areas, provided they remain on a leash.
Admission to the Pemberton Museum is by donation, with a suggested contribution of $5 per guest. Your presence is what counts most, whether or not you’re able to contribute.
Please note that certain special events may require a ticket and could cost more than $5.
Absolutely. Subject to staff availability, guided tours for small groups are offered. If a guided tour isn’t an option, our exhibits include comprehensive information for rewarding self-guided visits.

Yes! The Pemberton Museum offers rental space for many private and ticketed public events, including weddings, memorials, reunions, birthdays, and anniversaries. We also host workshops, meetings, and other gatherings, with indoor and outdoor options available (weather permitting).

Due to the historic nature of our buildings, wheelchair and stroller accessibility on our site is limited. However, we are committed to improving access and inclusivity. Our newer schoolhouse building, used for museum events and venue rentals, has a ramp, providing greater accessibility. We continue to prioritize creating a space that can be enjoyed by all visitors and appreciate your understanding as we work towards this goal.
