WHERE HISTORY COMES TO LIFE!

Nestled in the heart of the Pemberton Valley on the traditional and unceded territory of the Lil’wat and St’át’imc Nations, the museum invites you to step back in time and explore the stories that have shaped our region. Since opening in 1982, we have been dedicated to collecting, preserving, and sharing Pemberton’s rich heritage.

Our 1-acre site is home to nine buildings, some dating back to 1897, and a remarkable collection of over 2,500 artifacts, 2,000 photographs, and over 20 meters of archival materials. Our exhibits showcase early pioneer life, farming, commerce, transportation, and industry, as well as the ingenuity and artistry of those who came before us. We celebrate the spirit and cultural diversity of our community.

Open to the public from June to October, the museum offers interactive exhibits, group and private tours, school field trips, and engaging activities designed to educate and inspire visitors of all ages. It is also a vibrant venue for community and private events, providing a space to connect with the past while fostering new memories.

We are more than a collection of artifacts. Our mission is to inspire curiosity, build community connections, and ensure that Pemberton’s unique history is celebrated for generations.

We invite you to step back in time and explore our unique history. We look forward to your visit!
