Pemberton Hotel. fr. Left: Mrs. J. Pope, Kathleen Lundgren, Milton Shantz, Bert Lundgren, Jack and Eileen Taillefer, Fred Menzel, Slim and Margaret Fougberg, “Andy” Anderson, Frank Smith,a Squamish cattle buyer, Bill Spetch, Bob Brunell and his wife, Alice McKay, Roy Crowston. This was a period when men were returning from WWII service in Europe. Usually there was a celebration when each returned. No uniforms show in this photo so there may have been another reason for the gathering – if any was needed.
