This picture is part of a series of 47 photos connected with the lowering of Lillooet Lake under the P.F.R.A. in the 1950’s. This involved widening and straightening the channel between Lillooet and Tenas Lakes and removal of a dam built in the early 1860’s at the south end of Tenas Lake.
