Two wooden crates for Dynamite. On the short sides of box a) it reads “50 LB 24=6=60 C-I-L DITCHING DYNAMITE 50% 1/4X8 C-I-L”. On the top of box a) it reads “Pemberton Valley F.I” in blue handwriting. On the short sides of box b) it reads “50LB 13=9=60 FORCITE 60% PERFORATED 1X8 CARTRIDGES C-I-L”. both of the long sides are the same on each crate. One of the long sides reads “Made in Canada by Canadian Industries Limited’, which is what C-I-L stands for. Under that it reads “Factories at James Island, B.C; Beloeil, P.Q.; Brainerd, Man.; Nobel, Ontario; Calgary, Alta.”. On the other long side it reads “High EXPLOSIVES– DANGEROUS CLASS III – DIVISION B.T.C 14”. The item was found on the Perkins brothers lot.
