MacDonald’s British Consoles Cigarette Tobacco Tins

Two tins of MacDonald’s British Consols Cigarette Tobacco. On the side of the can there is an illustration of a women wearing traditional Scottish garb holding a sword. On the top of the lid of the tin around of the edge is says “FOR OVER ONE HUNDRED YEARS THIS TRADE MARK HAS BEEN KNOWN THROUGHOUT CANADA AS THE SAFEST GUIDE TO RELIABLE TOBACCO PRODUCTS”. In the middle of the tin there is an illustration of a tobacco leaf and on top of it reads “W.C. MACDONALD INC. MANUFACTURERS OF FINE TOBACCOS, MONTREAL” a) still has the top of the seal on the lid and a little of the bottom on the tin. The bottom of the seal on b) is missing but there is still some of the top of the seal still on the tin. The items were found on the Perkins brothers lot.
