Horseshoe

Image:
Description:
This is an iron horseshoe. It has two rims near the back of the arms of the horseshoe. This horseshoe is joined at the back by metal to complete a relatively square circle. Karl Friedstorm of Birken made the horseshoe. The unusual construction suggests the shoe was made for a horse with a problem hoof. It is in good condition but is rusted.
