Fire Extinguisher (Plastic)

Description:
This is a red plastic fire extinguisher with a metal pump that connects to a rubber hose. The model is “PTP-25 Pump Tank,”and has the maker’s mark “Underwriters’Laboratories Inc.” It also says “Flag Fire Equipment Ltd, Windsor Ontario”. Flag’s PTP-25 is the first and only fire extinguisher made of Polyethylene Plastic to be thoroughly tested, approved and listed by The Underwriters Laboratories. It is built to stand rugged use and is virtually unbreakable This item was used by Peggy’s husband Bill Perfitt in D’arcy B.C. and he worked in a fire camp for B.C.F.S. in the 1970-80s.
