Emily Carr Pemberton meadows framed print. Emily took the PGE train up here in May 1933 for a month long expedition to take on a new artistic challenge, Mountain scenery. After visiting with a niece in Squamish Valley, Emily took the train North to Lillooet and on the return trip stopped to explore and sketch at Seton Lake and Pemberton. It was a major turning point for her. This Painting of Pemberton Meadows is now on display in the Vancouver Art Gallery.
