A venetian copper bed warmer with a wooden handle donated by Judy and Stew McNolty. Bed warmers would be used for placing underneath covers of beds with either bits of ember or steaming coal containing inside. It is uncommonly used today, as before it was a bit controversial from risks of fire hazards and various doctors informed that ember fumes were noxious (poisionous). Many suggested if going to use bed warmers, hot sand should be the replacement instead.
