China Plate

Description:
A china plate with red and yellow patterned border trim and a gilded edge. There are yellow and pink flowers near the border, along with a gilded pattern. In the center there is a bouquet of pink and yellow flowers. The makers mark on the underside reads “Clarice Cliff NEWPORT POTTERY C2 ENGLAND” The items belong to Allen McEwan’s grandmother and grandfather, Bertha (nee Collins) and Morgan Miller. Jean McEwan, Allen’s mother, put the donation box together.
