Cast Iron Frying Pan

A cast iron frying pan with a wooden handle. Letters embossed on the bottom hard to make out, but written is “SMART, G, BROCKVILLE.ONT.” which are abbreviations for the James Smart Manufacturing Co., that was partnered with the Gill Brothers (G logo) ca. 1856, and was located in Brockville, Ontario. This specific model of pan is thought to be made around 1917, had belonged to J.O. Decker and was used at the Birkenhead Lake.
