buckskin vest

Image:
Description:
This fringed vest is made of cream coloured buckskin. It has a design of embroidered red and purple flowers and green leaves front and back and two small pockets on front with a black and pink plaid lining. Alan Spetch wore it and it was given to him at age six in 1955. It was made in Mt. Currie. It shrank when washed especially on one side so it has a puckered look. The original lining appears to have been replaced.
