B.C. Centennial Scroll

This is a framed B.C. Centennial Scroll given to Edmond O. Ronayne in 1958. It reads, “Because you, E. Ronayne, have contributed in no small measure to the development and prosperity of your community, we present to you, in the Centennial Year in this Province, this Scroll to commemorate your achievements.” The scroll was professionally framed by Woodward’s department store in Vancouver B.C. This is from a collection of agricultural awards, ribbons and trophies received from Rosemary Walden that belonged to her uncle Edmond Oswald Ronayne, her father’s first cousin.
