In August of 1958 when the highway linked Squamish and Vancouver a contingent of vehicles and residents from Pemberton and Bralorne arrived in Squamish by rail and drove on to Vancouver. Standing in front of vehicle is Fred Ostman. T. Fougberg is standing beside a woman from Bralorne.
