The magazine has inscription “Love Gwen” in ink on the cover. It is the sixth issue of a collection of cartoons called “Fragments from France” by official war cartoonist for the British and American armies, Bruce Bairnsfather. The cartoons were originally printed in The Bystander magazine The cartoons are of soldier named Old Bruce in the British army during WWI, the sixth issue focuses on the French, Italian, and American sides. The magazine was published in 1918.
