Image:
Description:
Inscription reads “Black Blasting Powder” and “Canada Explosives Limited.” This a metal tin, not rusted, that once contained black powder. G. Walker found the can on the Cariboo Road. Possibly the Royal Engineers left it. Black Blasting powder pre-dated Dynamite. Many other of these cans, reported along McDonalds cut, were left during P.G.E. construction.
