Prize Display Cards and Prize Books

This is a collection of ephemera associated with the Pemberton and District Fall Fair. These items are associated with Mr. and Mrs. E.O. Ronayne’s efforts. Item a) consists of a bundle of prize display cards that would have been shown alongside the winning agricultural product. Prizes are for a variety of flowers and vegetable products. Some of the cards are signed by secretary Beth Pipe. Blue cards are 1st prize, red cards are 2nd prize and white cards are 3rd prize. Item b) consists of two “Prize List” booklets from the Fall Fairs held in 1960-1961. This is from a collection of agricultural awards, ribbons and trophies received from Rosemary Walden that belonged to her uncle Edmond Oswald Ronayne, her father’s first cousin.
