Challenge Cup Award

This is a silver plated trophy cup. It reads “Challenge Cup – presented to the women of Pemberton Valley by General A.D. McRae M.P.” There is an embossed scroll detail below the lip of the cup and it is mounted on a turned wooden base. This is from a collection of agricultural awards, ribbons and trophies received from Rosemary Walden that belonged to her uncle Edmond Oswald Ronayne, her father’s first cousin.
