Gearmatic Winch

A old yellow “Gearmatic” winch that is partially taken apart (a). A clutch gear has been removed (b) and some of the gears, springs, and bolts are in a grey metal “ESSO” oil bucket (c). There are 15 springs, 12 bolts, 1 small cog/sprocket and piston. On the front of the winch there is a label that has mostly worn off but “Gearmatic” is still visible. The brand name is also embossed on the end of the item. The item was found on the Perkins brothers lot. It is very heavy and was placed on site using a truck crane.
