Cookie tin that belonged to Frances Decker. Makers mark is ”Gray Dunn A Product of Scotland”. Gray Dunn was established in 1853 and received a Royal Warrant from Queen Victoria. The factory itself was built in 1862, but thirteen years later it was burnt down by fire and had to be rebuilt. Currently run by Nestlé, and originally produced Blue Riband up until 1994. It was shut down by Nestlé and moved to NewCastle for production.
