women’s drawers

Description:
These women’s drawers are made of fine white cotton. They are hand stitched with tiny even stitches. There is a hem at the top for a draw string. The bottom 20 cm are decorated with embroidered flowers. The legs are almost separate. These drawers were owned Mrs. Geoffrey Downton, and were donated to the museum by her granddaughter Marjory Gimse.
