Flag

A unofficial flag of Canada from 1907. It has a British flag on the top left corner and a coat of arm with maple leafs and a beaver surrounding it. Canada never had an official flag until 1965; this Red Ensign flag has the Coat of Arms with the nine provinces that were a part of Canada at the time. This flag is special, as it was made with special adornments. On each side of the Coat of Arms there are 10 maple leaves, which are joined at the bottom by the beaver. The provinces that are on the Coat of Arms are as follows: Row one – Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, Row two – New Brunswick, British Columbia, Prince Edward Island, Row three – Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba.
