Weksler sling Psychrometer. Maker’s mark “Weksler” still visible. Two staggered thermometers mounted on a painted white metal plate attached by a hinge to a silver metal rod that swings the thermometers back and forth. One of the thermometers has a piece of white cloth at the bottom called a wick which is dipped in water “wet bulb thermometer” and “dry bulb thermometer”. Device is swung around, cooling/drying the wet bulb thermometer. Dry air results in lower temperature. Leather case is a browny/orange colour with yellowish beige stitching and a painted gold makers mark.
