Description:
Sonny Tayler operating the longboat "Old Lillooet Lady" (P.F.R.A. River Boat). P.F.R.A. (Prairie Rehabilitation) was the beginning of the contribution of the Dyking District and Sonny piloted work crews to the narrows where the river was dredged and drained. Caption on the back reads "Going down Lillooet River in old Lillooet Lady. P.F.R.A. river boat. Sonny Taylor".

The PDMAS Society meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Museum.

Membership is $20 for an individual and $25 for a family.

30,000 gold-rushers passed through this region from 1858 to 1865 and Port Pemberton was an important stopping point for travelers making their way to Lillooet and the gold-fields beyond!
