Description:
A magazine that belonged to H. Wyatt Purden. It was saved by Betty Cherry who gave it to May Walker to give it to the museum. Titled "Work - the Illustrated Journal of Handicrafts", Part 341, September 1917. Some damage along the bottom - chewed by rodents.

We are located in the downtown area of Pemberton at 7455 Prospect St.

The Society meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Museum.

Museum memberships ensure the long term sustainability of the museum society and the history it preserves. Membership is $15 for an individual and $20 for a family. Your membership ensures you will receive regular news from the museum regarding upcoming events and programs and special projects. To become a member fill out the form and mail to us. 30,000 gold-rushers passed through this region from 1858 to 1865 and Port Pemberton was an important stopping point for travelers making their way to Lillooet and the gold-fields beyond!
