This is a framed B.C. Centennial Scroll given to Edmond O. Ronayne in 1958. It reads, "Because you, E. Ronayne, have contributed in no small measure to the development and prosperity of your community, we present to you, in the Centennial Year in this Province, this Scroll to commemorate your achievements." The scroll was professionally framed by Woodward's department store in Vancouver B.C. This is from a collection of agricultural awards, ribbons and trophies received from Rosemary Walden that belonged to her uncle Edmond Oswald Ronayne, her father's first cousin.

Description:
This is a framed Diploma of Honour issued to the Ronayne Brothers in 1934 from the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. It reads "In testimony of their name having been inscribed upon the roll of Honour established under authority of the Board of Directors to commemorate the Centenary of the Incorporation of the City of Toronto, containing the names of this whose exhibits at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair of 1934 reached the High Standard of Excellence required to Merit inscription on this Roll of Honour". Signed by the Mayor of Toronto and the President, Vice President and Manager of the Royal Agricultural Fair. [Condition is fair. Diploma is framed without glass. Keep in archive room]. This is a silver platter awarded to Rosemary Walden via her uncle Edmond Ronayne and father Jack Ronayne. Rosemary was involved in picking some varieties for Dr. Wright at the National Exhibition from Edmund and John's farms. Dr. Wright was a University of British Columbia researcher who helped to establish virus free potato stock in Pemberton on the Ronayne Brothers farms in 1967. This item is associated with 018.06.04. Edmond received $200 with the award. The platter was not engraved with the awardee's name. It reads, "Royal Agricultural Winter Fair 1972 - Salada Foods Ltd. Award emblematic of the Grand Champion Exhibit Table Stock Potatoes awarded to ________." Description:
This is a silver plate trophy cup mounted on a black round wooden base with rounded edges. It reads, "Agricultural Cup presented by Pemberton Valley Farmer's Institute for Agricultural Aggregate". On the back it is inscribed with "Ronayne Bros." and the years 1925 through to 1934 are stated. The trophy has been converted into a lamp stand with an electrical cord wrapped around the base. There is not a lamp shade with the item.
