Clear Telephone Insolators

Description:

Antique threaded telephone insulators manufactured by the Dominion Glass Company of Montreal. Embossed on both is "DOMINION - 9" on one side and a diamond on the other. The 9 series were for use as telephone insulators. a) has chip in the top ridge. b) Has chips in the nodules on the bottom. Found in a shed in Mt.Currie behind the house that Klay was renting.

Description:

A light blue telephone insulator with " B.T.CO OF CANADA" embossed on the side, which stands for Bell Telephone Company of Canada The inside is partially threaded. There is a chip on the bottom. Found in a shed in Mt.Currie behind the house that Klay was renting.

On the top is attached a stained canvas bag with a red square outline printed on it, inside the out line are the words ""CYCLONE" SEED SOWER PATENDED MADE AT URBANA INDIANA U.S.A" The bottom is a faded red wooden frame and rusted gears, plate and handle. Description:

A rusty horse with three coulkins one on the end of each prong and one in the middle of the top of horse shoe. The coulkins mean it was most likely from a working or trail horse. The nails are also still in the shoe, four on each side. Found in a shed in Mt.Currie behind the house that Klay was renting.

Pitching Horse Shoes

Description:

Two rusted pitching horse shoes from different sets. Found in a shed in Mt.Currie behind the house that Klay was renting. a) is a rounded pitching horse shoe with straight prongs and that curl point inwards along with coulkins on the end of each prong and one a the top middle of the shoe "A" is stamped in bottom of each prong on the top side. b) a rusted pitching horse shoe. There is writing on the top but only the word "OFFICIAL" is readable. The prongs are curved and have a coulkin on each end, there is also a coulkins on the top middle. B is stamped into the top side on the bottom of each of the prongs.

Edgerite No.5 Hand Plane

Edgerite No.5 Hand Plane

Description:

A rusted plane that has " No 5" embossed on the top of the toe. On the top of the iron near the handle "edgerite" written on top of an anvil is stamped. Edgerite was a brand from Eaton's department stores in the west of Canada. The wood back handle is split and loose. Found in a shed in Mt.Currie behind the house that Klay was renting.
