blue grade 5 speller
Description:
A blue textbook titled "The Canadian Speller GRADE 5" there is an illustration of dip pen and a ink well on the cover. On the spine it reads "QUANCE The Canadian Speller 5 GAGE". The book is bound in buckram. In side on the blank page "Ella" is handwritten in pencil on the top center of the page. The items belong to Allen McEwan's grandmother and grandfather, Bertha (nee. Collins) and Morgan Miller. Jean McEwan, Allen's mother, put the donation box together. There were several ephemera items extracted from the book associated with Morgan Miller that will be described in the archive register.

Description:
A green text book titled "Using our World" On the cover there is an illustration of a waterfall and a PowerStation. On the spine it reads "Powers. Bruner. Neuner. Bradley; Using our World NEW EDITION". The book is a geography textbook centered around resource use and management. Inside stamped is "PEMBERTON ELEMENTARY SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL" and "PEMBERTON VILLAGE SCHOOL PEMBERTON, B.C".

Typhoon
Description:
A novella with a blue cover bound in buckram. The novella is a seafaring adventure titled "Typhoon" by Joseph Conrad. Inside there is a large white sticker that reads "This Textbook is provided by the Department of Education of the Province of British Columbia. School books should be properly covered and cared for, so that they may be passed on in good condition to succeeding pupils."; then hand written on a line titled name of student is "Lorrain Scoobie" under that on two lines titled class and year "9A" and "6168" are hand written.

Hours of Operation
The Pemberton Museum is currently CLOSED for the winter and will reopen to the public in the spring of 2025.
Meetings
The PDMAS Society meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Museum.
Our 2024 AGM will be held July 10 at 7pm.
