A mountain landscape acrylic painting with a wooden frame that was painted by Teresa (nee Lokken) Summerskill and it was donated by Laura Burden. The painting depicts large mountains with a forest and an ocean near the bottom (having blue, gray, white, and green tinges). On the back of the frame has a tag that reads below "Intercraft Industries of Canada, LTD.", which may indicate where the wooden frame was manufactured. large table cloth
Description:
A large hand made green and white specked table cloth with a wildlife forest art design made by Teresa Summerskill and it was donated by Laura Burden. The design intersects a pattern on all sides, with the forestry having trees, flowers, bushes/leaves, grass, ponds, and mushrooms. The wildlife depicted in the forest have turkeys sitting on tree branches, birds flying above, hunting dogs and a fox chasing a boar, deer side by side next to each other(stag and a doe), a hunting dog scenting a pond, and a rabbit surrounded by wood pieces. On all corners there are two guns and a hunting horn, along with in the middle there is a hunting rifle and a different hunting horn. The art design has the colours greens, browns, red, white, yellow, gold, blue, grays, and black. The material could possibly be made out of 80% polyester and 20% cotton. honing rod
Description:
A metal honing rod with a stag antler handle that was used by Teresa Summerskill and it was donated by Laura Burden. On the right side of the rod reads "Corged Steel - Sheffield Inc." Although, the origins of where and who manufactured the honing rod is unknown. A honing rod is typically used for sharpening kitchen knives. For donor biography see description for 021.10.01.

Description:
White cotton dish towel. Gold embroidered logo in bottom left corner. Logo is "Windsor Castle" in center with embellishment and more text in French around outside. Manufacturer's tag on back at top right "100% cotton, washing symbols, Iron when damp, do not bleach, do not dryclean, made in EU".

Drawer Pulls
Description:
Two drawer pulls. Brass (?). The face is octagon with ornate pattern. Handle is attached to middle sides and shaped to fit around bottom. There is a red plastic disk on back of face, and around attachment for screw. There are silver coloured screws in the attachment.

Spats
Description:
Felt spats that were fastened over tops of shoes and over bottoms of pants to keep out dirt. The body is grey felt. The top is edged in grey false leather. Four snaps on each spat. Leather straps attached to either side at bottom that would go under shoes. a) has tag inside "The York Spat finest all wool felt E&S Currie Limited".

Description:
A drawing of a mountain goat in a wooden frame donated by Katrina Chevrette. It was found on the McEwan farm. The mountain goat art piece has been assumed it is a reprinted copy of a wood burning, although it could have been a pen and ink drawing. On the right side below the mountain goat has the artists full name "Hedy Heilmann" written side ways. The back of the frame has one price tag at the top left corner titled with the price number "19.95" and the other is Hedy Heilmann's business card attached with masking tape on the center. The business card reads "Golden Circles Enterprises - Art/Design" with her name printed below.

"Mount. Assinibone" mountain photograph
Description:
A photograph of a mountain landscape in a silver frame donated by Katrina Chevrette. It was found on the McEwan farm. The photograph was taken in Mount. Assinibone, British Columbia, by Jim Traub, as it is written on the back of the frame and at the right side also has a tag written with the location. The bottom left corner has a card addressed to Jim Traub titled "Wilderness Respect" and his name below. The back of the frame also has metal wiring used for hanging, but is instead screwed on.

Description:
A photograph of a mountain landscape in a wooden frame donated by Katrina Chevrette. It was found on the McEwan farm. The photograph of where it was taken and the photographer is unknown, although more likely it was taken somewhere in British Columbia. The back of the frame has a thin paper sheet attached with metal wiring on two hooks used for hanging. The bottom below has a dark blue sticker tag titled "The Richmond Arts Limited - Pictures and Picture Frames, Vancouver, British Columbia, in which the tag could have been displayed in the Richmond Art Gallery.

Sling Psychrometer
Description:
Weksler sling Psychrometer. Maker's mark "Weksler" still visible. Two staggered thermometers mounted on a painted white metal plate attached by a hinge to a silver metal rod that swings the thermometers back and forth. One of the thermometers has a piece of white cloth at the bottom called a wick which is dipped in water "wet bulb thermometer" and "dry bulb thermometer". Device is swung around, cooling/drying the wet bulb thermometer. Dry air results in lower temperature. Leather case is a browny/orange colour with yellowish beige stitching and a painted gold makers mark.

Mineral Claim Tags
Description:
The square aluminum (?) tags bear the numbers 251824 and 251824. One is the initial post, the other for the final post. At a time when he staked claims in the mountains of Pemberton, Mr. Fougberg secured these tags. They date from the 1930's. a) "initial post" b) "final post".

Pioneer Chainsaw
Description:
Rare vintage Pioneer R.A. chainsaw. Was introduced by Industrial Engineering Ltd. (IEL) in 1957 and was discontinued in 1958. Manufactured in Vancouver, British Columbia. Made of sand-cast aluminum and cast iron. The saw was used in Birken and used to belong to Gunnar Gimse before he gave it to his son Geoff Gimse and Geoff used it in his time living in Birken. Does not have a chain and on the top reads the 'Pioneer' brand logo.

Description:
Vintage McCulloch MAC 15 chainsaw was introduced by McCulloch Motors Corp. in 1962 and was discontinued in 1967. Manufactured in Los Angeles, California. Made of die-cast magnesium and cast iron. The saw was used in Birken and belonged to Gunnar Gimse before it was given to his son Geoff Gimse.
