Description:

A blue textbook titled "The Canadian Speller GRADE 5" there is an illustration of dip pen and a ink well on the cover. On the spine it reads "QUANCE The Canadian Speller 5 GAGE". The book is bound in buckram. In side on the blank page "Ella" is handwritten in pencil on the top center of the page. The items belong to Allen McEwan's grandmother and grandfather, Bertha (nee. Collins) and Morgan Miller. Jean McEwan, Allen's mother, put the donation box together. There were several ephemera items extracted from the book associated with Morgan Miller that will be described in the archive register.

Telephone Directory book/phone covers donated by Ola Perkins. They were manufactured by Discovery AD. Ventures in Coquitlam, B.C. They are made out of plastic and are washable. They are covered in advertisements for businesses in Pemberton and Whistler. In the middle is imprinted ''Telephone Directory'' from 2001-2002. Two of the phonebook covers are green (a & b) while the other one is colored to blue (c); highlighting the advertisements while the rest (base color) is white.

Valleau logging business stamps and rack used by the business in the 1980s-1990s. Prize Display Cards and Prize Books

Description:

This is a collection of ephemera associated with the Pemberton and District Fall Fair. These items are associated with Mr. and Mrs. E.O. Ronayne's efforts. Item a) consists of a bundle of prize display cards that would have been shown alongside the winning agricultural product. Prizes are for a variety of flowers and vegetable products. Some of the cards are signed by secretary Beth Pipe. Blue cards are 1st prize, red cards are 2nd prize and white cards are 3rd prize. Item b) consists of two "Prize List" booklets from the Fall Fairs held in 1960-1961. This is from a collection of agricultural awards, ribbons and trophies received from Rosemary Walden that belonged to her uncle Edmond Oswald Ronayne, her father's first cousin.
