Description:
A series of Lil'wat bark carvings by Tyrone Joseph [except b]. Donated to the museum by Bob and Pat Priest via Linda Welsh. This is item "a" of 014.17.01abcd. It has writing on the back in black pen that reads: "Figure seal: eagle with fish and sun figure by Tyrone Joseph, December 1980". It is darker in colour than the others, and is the longest and thinnest.

Description:
A series of First Nation's carvings. Donated to the museum by Bob and Pat Priest via Linda Welsh. This is item "b" of 014.17.01abcd. It is a carving of an eagle head at one end with claw at the other. The wood is lighter than the other carvings. It appears to be some sort of backscratcher. It has a leather strap at the head end where it can be hung. There is no signature or inscription. Pat Priest believes this item came from the Haida Gwaii area but isn't sure of origin.

There is an inscription on the back in black felt that reads: "Killerwhale with sun and raven eagle with fish, sun, and moon figure by Tyrone Joseph, January 1981".

Hand Forged Railway Spikes
Description:
Three railroad spikes from PGE Railway. They were found in the garage section of the old Taillefer garage. They are like new and in excellent condition. The garage ceased operation in the 1960's. Bob Priest purchased the building and converted it into a drug store. The spikes are painted black with some white speckling.

leather gloves
Description:
This item is a pair of beige coloured leather cowboy gloves. They were hand sewn with a fringe part way down one side. Main construction was done with a sewing machine. Decorated with small blue and white beads and silver stars. There are two horse and riders embroidered on the back in purple, gold, blue, green. There are 4 blue flowers and three green leaves and stems. The long cuffs are stiffened with lining. These gloves are in good condition. Possibly made by a Mount Currie Indian.
