Leg Hold Traps
Description:
Two double zero traps. "double ought" "00". These traps would have been used for very small animals (squirrels, rats etc…). 00 is the smallest size leg hold trap that was made.

Metal Paper Holder
Description:
Basic overall shape of rusted metal holder, a triangle with a rounded bottom. Top Half : (in length) roughly triangular with decorative "beaks" projecting near the top of each side. A round hole near the top allows hanging on a wall; nearly triangular opening close to bottom of this half of holder has above it the inscription "keep". Bottom Half: round with scalloped edges, it has cut outs which produce a six pointed star; above star. Inscription reads "Pat. Oct. 13,'03". Back of the holder: it has sharp pointed and curved spike in which to impale papers. Mrs. Perkins found the holder in Axel Johnson's blacksmith shop which the Perkins' bought and moved to their home property.

Saw
Description:
Saw. Handle was originally painted blue. "S. D. & A. co. Galt Canada" on handle. Weight is approximately three pounds. Perkins Bros. Logging. This is a ripping hand saw. It is not dead flat, and has a rocker to it. This saw was for cutting material fast. It was the best saw you could buy in the 1960's.

Scale. Metal bar with hook on one end and rectangular metal block that slides along bar. Near end with hook a second hook is screwed on at top, directly below is an attachment for a weight. On bar is writing "Made in Canada" and "B13811", worn and difficult to read.

Smoker
Description:
Smoke can or Bee Keeper Bellows. Used in bee keeping to blow smoke at bees in order to sedate them. Metal can with spout on top where smoke would come out. Attached to back is bellow for pumping smoke. Material on bellow is black.

Strop
Description:
Strop. Two long pieces of leather attached at one end with thin piece of leather and metal clip. On leather right below metal clip is "The Genuine Sonasaga Strop". One side of the strop embossed "Sharpen", the other side "Finish". There is also an embossed image of a globe and a Deer and the numbers "122". The item was used for sharpening razor blades.
