Description:
Indigenous women say that this device was used to wind goats hair. It is a round disk on a pointed wooden stick broken at one end. Condition- good but worn. See pp. 3 & 5 of Indian Spinning, Knitting, Basketry-Elizabeth Hawkins.

We are located in the downtown area of Pemberton at 7455 Prospect St.
Hours of Operation
The Pemberton Museum is currently CLOSED for the winter and will reopen to the public in the spring of 2025.
Meetings
The PDMAS Society meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Museum.
Our 2024 AGM will be held July 10 at 7pm.
