This is a grass (wicker) basket which is incomplete. It is roundish joining on the bottom flatly. There is no design shown. Condition is fair. The basket is incomplete. There are cedar strips in the basket. The basket itself does not appear to be indigenous.

Blower for Forge
Description:
This small blower is for a forge and is made entirely of metal. It has a handle which is connected by gears to a fan which in turn blows air out a small opening. Condition: badly rusted, the handle is rusted in position. Inscription reads " Canada Blower & Forge Co., Kitchener Ont."

Bridle
Description:
This is the bridle off horse's equipment. It is made of leather, including the eye patches. The rings and buckles are made of iron (now rusted). It is a leather strap hooked in a circle by rings which can be tightened by a belt like apparatus. It is quite worn.

Description:
This item is a small grind stone. The stone alone measures 24 cm Dia. x 6 cm W x 71 cm Circ. It is attached to an axle so it can revolve on a home made wooden stand. Condition: Good but the axle is rusted.

Description:
This is an old fashioned drill driver, or hand drill. It has a removable and changeable bit as well as bit holder. It is made mostly of metal, bent to create a handle. Condition: part of the drill near the top is missing, the rest is slightly rusted.

Description:
This hay knife was used to cut portions from a hay mow. It is all metal except for the shaft. Extending down from the handle there is a shaft. At the bottom of the shaft there is a blade consisting of large triangular teeth. Condition: this item is rusted.

Hoof Trimmers
Description:
This is a set of hoof trimmers. There are two. One is 31 cm by 3 cm and the other is 41 cm by 3 cm. The smaller one is damaged missing one part of the head. They are both made of metal. Condition - Rusted. [Update 2013]: there is only one in collection that can be found. Maker's mark (barely visible) reads ..."SCOUSA".

Description:
This is a large cast iron kettle. It has a large spout and a hole on top for filling. The lid, however is missing. The handle spreads across the top like a bucket handle. It is black and heavy. Condition is fair.
