Description:
These cows drinking fountains are made entirely of metal. They are about 90 cm high and the bottom bowl has a diameter of 30 cm. A small pressure switch in the bottom of this bowl triggers the flow of water. The Gilmores bought the drinking fountain about 1946. Condition: good. The drinking fountain was patented in 1943.

Cow Stanchion
Description:
These cow stanchions are 166 cm long and 26 cm.wide. They are made of metal. One side is curved and one side is straight similar to a bow. A chain is connected to the top for holding the machine up, and a type of lock is near the bottom. The Gilmores bought the stanchions about 1946. Condition is good.

Metal Blocks and Tackle
Description:
These are set chain blocks. They are composed entirely of iron. An inscription labels them "Wesca tested". The first block has two wheels, the second has one. They are used by running a long chain between them. Condition: very rusted.

Description:
This is a cylindrical orange coloured porcelain bowl, with metal holder that was used for dispensing minerals to livestock. The bowl has one flat side and several crack marks. The bowl sits in the holder which is a thin piece of metal with a metal bar attached to the outer wall of the holder in order to place the holder on a wall, fence post etc....

Description:
Semi-conical oily rusted tin. It has a long conical spout with a hole in the end were the oil is dispensed. The spout can be detached from the base of the tin in order to put oil into the container.

Pot Lifters
Description:
These are pot lifters composed of two trough-like metal pieces held together by rivets. The top piece operates a smaller flap like piece and the tip. The bottom piece is a complete extension with a 45 degree angle at the end. When the two handles are brought together. The two flaps at the front come together in order to grasp pots and lift them off the stove.
