Sharepipe wrench
Description:
A 18'' metal pipe wrench with a red semi-painted handle that was used by Teresa Summerskill and it was donated by Laura Burden. On the top and middle clamp part of the wrench reads "18" and below on the top of the handle has "Drop Forged" written on it. The bottom of the handle also reads "Super-Ego", particularly a Spanish company that originated from Spain. Although not much company history is known, the company started in 1946 and was named "Ego" after being made beside the Ego river in Eibar, Guipuzoa. It is also known for being the first Spanish tool manufacturing company that exports worldwide. For donor biography see description for 021.10.01.
