2024 Season Kick-Off Fundaiser and Membership Drive - June 15!

The Pemberton & District Museum & Archives Society is excited to welcome the community to our 2024 Season Kick-Off Fundraiser and Membership Drive on Saturday, June 15 from noon until 5pm!

Admission is $5! Kids 5 and under are FREE!!!

DJ Ira will be hosting his famous Kids Dance Party from 1pm-2pm!

Pemberton ukulele duo, Highly Strung will be singing their hearts out and DJ U to the J- Julian Hine will be spinning funky beats guaranteed to get you dancing!

The exhibits will be open for exploration, a new painting exhibit will be hung the schoolhouse gallery, and there will be face painting, scavenger hunts, games, and prizes.

Pemberton Arts Council will be selling tickets to their @Mountain Muse Festival!

Come meet our fantastic team and our dedicated volunteer Board of Directors and learn about museum membership! Membership helps our team preserve and share Pemberton's unique history while creating entertaining and educational events for the whole family.

All New Business Membership - $100

All proceeds from the Kick-Off go to our event and programming fund, helping us bring fun events for the whole family together this season.

Location

We are located in the downtown area of Pemberton at 7455 Prospect St.

Hours of Operation

The Pemberton Museum is currently CLOSED for the winter and will reopen to the public in the spring of 2025.

Meetings

The PDMAS Society meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Museum.

Our 2024 AGM will be held July 10 at 7pm.

Did you know?

Port Pemberton was founded as a stopping point on the historic Harrison-Lillooet gold rush trail over 160 years ago.

30,000 gold-rushers passed through this region from 1858 to 1865 and Port Pemberton was an important stopping point for travelers making their way to Lillooet and the gold-fields beyond!
