A meat grinder made by the Spong Company of England. On the top funnel on one side the makers mark reading "SPONG" is embossed on the other side "NO 8015 SPONG". Below the makers mark it reads "MADE IN ENGLAND", on the opposite side it reads. The items belong to Allen McEwan's grandmother and grandfather, Bertha (nee. Collins) and Morgan Miller. a)This is a small pottery vase with decorative grape leaves and vines designed on it b) this is a pottery spoon trivet in the style of first nations art, frog motif. Both these items have been made with red clay and are fired but not glazed. They were made by Rosemary Myrtle Starks (nee Decker) in the early 1970's.

This is a small blue ginger jar. It is painted blue and has pink and purple flowers on it as well as a lid on top. The maker's mark says "Moorcraft" and it is worth about $250 dollars. It contained potpourri made by Frances Decker in the 1960's out of dried flowers from her garden.

Description:

This item is a rectangular cream and white coloured tablecloth, made of a textile, possibly silk backed with cotton. There is a crochet/lace pattern type border which surrounds the cloth. There are four basket designs one in each corner of the cloth. There are a large number of rust spots on the cloth. The item is discoloured from age. This item was inside the Schantz house when it was donated to the museum by the Oberson's.

A plastic bag full of coupons and box ends. a) is seven box ends for "MONARCH MARGARINE". b) is 12 cut up box tops for Kellogg's cereal most likely corn flakes. c) 12 box ends for "Blue Bonnet" margarine". d) eight box ends for solo margarine. e) two coupons that have an illustration of a rose and say "Save this valuable ALL SWEET ROSE TOKEN". f) two box ends for "CP Margene". g) three large black and white coupons from Blue Bonnet. h) one small red coupon from "NABOB FOODS". The items were found on the Perkins brothers lot.

This flour sifter was possibly used by a member of the Smith family on the Short Portage south of Lillooet Lake. Very dusty although the sieve is intact. The handle is still solid and there are a few dents around the edges. It still turns around.

This is a first field, mark III first aid dressing from the 1940s used by Molly Ronayne in the WWII era. This is a "first field, Mark III" first aid dressing pack from the 1940s. It was made in Toronto, Ontario by the rondall company and used by molly Ronayne in WWII era. Molly Ronayne was involved with NAAFI and helped run kitchens associated with relief efforts.

a) A very rusted ice cream maker crank the cog is loose and there are pieces missing. b) The mixing attachment for the maker. It is tarnished and one of the wooden paddles is missing. Found in a shed in Mt.Currie behind the house that Klay was renting.
