Description:

This item is a rectangular cream and white coloured tablecloth, made of a textile, possibly silk backed with cotton. There is a crochet/lace pattern type border which surrounds the cloth. There are four basket designs one in each corner of the cloth. There are a large number of rust spots on the cloth. The item is discoloured from age. This item was inside the Schantz house when it was donated to the museum by the Oberson's.

This flour sifter was possibly used by a member of the Smith family on the Short Portage south of Lillooet Lake. Very dusty although the sieve is intact. The handle is still solid and there are a few dents around the edges. It still turns around.

Description:

This is a first field, mark III first aid dressing from the 1940s used by Molly Ronayne in the WWII era. This is a "first field, Mark III" first aid dressing pack from the 1940s. It was made in Toronto, Ontario by the rondall company and used by molly Ronayne in WWII era. Molly Ronayne was involved with NAAFI and helped run kitchens associated with relief efforts.
