Years ago Menzel ploughed up this item on land then owned by his father (now by Michael Edwards). The inscription says "V.G & C.C. Battle Cup 1920…" Nothing is known of the cup's early history. Condition is poor, object battered.

Description:

From a batch of items donated by Sue Nelson. Items belonged to her aunt Rosie Wallace who was the daughter of Maggie Saul. Brown Leather wallet, plastic sleeves for cards inside, has pocket for change on inside of back flap. Has snap for clasp. Stamp on change pocket says "Pitt Grand Genuine Leather Made in Canada". Condition is good, there is dirt inside plastic sleeves, and leather is slightly stained. Papers from the wallet were filed in archive.

tin cigar box

Description:

A tin cigar box with much decoration on it - in lid and outside. Contained 25 cigars. The top has a picture of " Edward Prince of Wales" "Our Future King" There is still part of an excise ticket on the bottom. Condition: The hinged back still works. The box is dented, scratched & worn. The different decorations are worn.
