Felt spats that were fastened over tops of shoes and over bottoms of pants to keep out dirt. The body is grey felt. The top is edged in grey false leather. Four snaps on each spat. Leather straps attached to either side at bottom that would go under shoes. a) has tag inside "The York Spat finest all wool felt E&S Currie Limited".

This is some type of aviation part or tool. The maker's mark reads "Air Associates" with a star in the middle. The company marketed itself as the first to provide complete servicing to airplane owners, manufacturing and distributing aeronautical and automotive materials and accessories. The company started in early 1927, so this is the oldest this item could be. The services and parts provided by Air Associates were used to help such well-known aviators as Amelia Earhart, Charles Lindbergh, and Armeno Lotti Jr. The item looks as if it should hinge open but is stuck in the position pictured. From a batch of items donated by Sue Nelson. Items belonged to her aunt Rosie Wallace who was the daughter of Maggie Saul. Gold coloured brooch with blue stones. Shape is circle around outside with two leaves in the middle and wires sticking out the top of the circle with stones on the ends. There are two rows of stones around the circle. Condition is good. Quite dirty.

From a batch of items donated by Sue Nelson. Items belonged to her aunt Rosie Wallace who was the daughter of Maggie Saul. Bifocal eyeglasses with large frames. The frames are translucent and colour is gradient from brown at top to amber at bottom. Arm is gold coloured metal with brown plastic part at end. At end of right-hand arm is writing "Portrait 209n, 101 54-20E AY6" writing is white and is coming off. Condition is excellent.

From a batch of items donated by Sue Nelson. Items belonged to her aunt Rosie Wallace who was the daughter of Maggie Saul. Brown leather purse. Turning clasp with flap overtop. Adjustable strap which is darker brown than the rest of the purse. Under the flap there is a stamp which says "Equestrian Coach Hide Made in England". A stamp beside the clasp says "REG DESIGN No5 877393 & 901278". Condition is fair, stitching is coming out on left hand side.
