Description:

A native bag weaved by uclulet people with "Uclulet" on the front with a braided handles. It once belonged to Margaret Furey (nee Ronayne) - she received it from an unknown source. UBC looked the basket was valuable. It comes with care and conservation documents from the UBC Museum of Anthropology.

Description:

This is one of four First Nation's Lil'wat carvings donated to the museum by Bob and Pat Priest via Linda Welsh. This is item "a" of 014.17.01abcd. It has writing on the back in black pen that reads: "Figure seal: eagle with fish and sun figure by Tyrone Joseph, December 1980". It is darker in colour than the others, and is the longest and thinnest.

Description:

This is one of four First Nation's Lil'wat carvings donated to the museum by Bob and Pat Priest via Linda Welsh. This is item "b" of 014.17.01abcd. It is a carving of an eagle head at one end with claw at the other. The wood is lighter than the other carvings. It appears to be some sort of backscratcher. It has a leather strap at the head end where it can be hung. There is no signature or inscription.
