Halloween Event 2016

The Halloween Fun at the Museum event was held on Saturday Oct. 29th from 12-3pm. Everyone was in their best spooktacular costume. The buildings were covered with spider webs and all sorts of spooky stuff! The Soo Building had a craft table and a few games. The fire pit was busy with the toasting of marshmallows and weiners.  About 350 visitors came by and the volunteers raised over $400. We had an amazing costume and a jack-o-lantern contest. The winners are:

Thanks to all the volunteers who helped out in this event. Special thanks to Judy Sankey for the donations of 8 pumpkins, Judy McNolty, and Flo Bilenduke for helping wih the contests, Michele Van Beek for being the SCARY SHOPKEEPER, and Katy Doiron, Betty Mercer, Alice Luciano, and Mae & Ally Catacutan for the baked goods. Thanks to all the after school workers Elvyra, Sarah, Savannah, and Nick for helping at the event and with the cleanup.
