Frontier Street Project

The Museum thought it would be good to get feedback from our members on the proposed project for Frontier Street.

There is an opportunity for the museum to contirubute Heritage elements to the walkway in partnership with the Local Arts Council.

We recently moved a 1930's logging track arch to the park in front of the museum and there is potential to place more of artifacts from the past around town via the Frontier Street Project.

Some members have expressed concerns about parking, and the lack of it in the downtown core, and there has been concerns about the market area proposed in the square between the hotel and AG Foods.  On the other hand, creating a space for the Farmer's Market and utilizing the lands along Frontier Street which have been under-utilized may help to create a center in the downtown area.

There is certainly much to consider in the proposal and we include it here for you to review.  Frontier Street Proposal.  Just email us with your feedback and we'll include it in our response Sept 17th.

Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback.
