New Exhibits

There are some new exhibits to see at the museum.  In the Sam Jim house you will find two new permanent exhibits about the Pemberton Women's Institute and the Pemberton Co-operative association.  Also, in the Sam Jim, near the dental chair display, you will see a reproduction of a painting by Sigrid Gimse of Anita Ronayne as a girl.  Sigrid often did paintings of her young patients and this is an excellent example of her talent.

In the Shantz house you will find the Lil'wat basket display moved near the archaelogical items downstairs and upstairs are new displays of Lil'wat craftsmanship.  There are two buckskin vests and a vest and a skirt donated by local residents.

Drop on by and check out these new displays if you haven't seen them.
