A "sourdough" on the Douglas Trail, 1858

Tea and Tales Aug 04

Tea and Tales Aug 04, 2009.  Hugh Naylor joined us to talk about fishing and local waters.  He began by talking about the hatchery program in the Birkenhead first established at the turn of the century followed by his own history as a fisheries technician on the hatchery program on the Birkenhead through the late 1980's and 1990's.  In the end he told us a few "big fish" stories and even talked about the Chinook that got away from him.  We thank Hugh for an informative and well presented discussion about fishing and local waters.  Thanks to all our regular tea goers who have supported our program this summer.
