Work continues on the John Arn Cabin and the sage crew of Ian McLeod and Dwayne Dick have managed to save a top log by replacing a tendon with new material. A hand whittled dowel that was used to fasten the logs together was salvaged by Ian and given to the Curator for safekeeping.  [more]

Schoolhouse Project - Enabling Accessibility Fund awarded

We are thrilled to announce the museum was successful in its request for funding for the Pemberton Station School project from the Government of Canada’s Enabling Accessibility Fund. The museum will see an investment of $36,793 in funding for the project which will ensure accessibility to this new educational programming and exhibit space at the Pemberton Museum.  [more]

Including some of the following: Deliver guided tours to individuals and groups as required including adults and children. Connect visitors to local and regional history through guided tours that highlight artifacts and information from the Pemberton Museum’s collection. Provide assistance to all visitors to ensure they can access the museum and its displays and resources.  [more]
